2 Minute Interview:
How does your workshop relate to being in the NOW?
It will be a chance to use your senses, look around and notice what’s important for your happiness, right here and right now.
Across five themes (Wonder, Hope, Love, Gratitude and Change), we will be asking people to stop, notice and reflect on what these themes mean to them right now – with questions like “what have you seen that is wonderful?”
What are you most looking forward to doing within your slot at NOW?
Seeing the wonderful energy that arises when people share things that mean a lot to them with others.
It’s great to give people the chance to stop and notice what matters to them – what they’re excited about, what they love and what they’re thankful for. We’re most excited about people having the chance to share their answers with others as this is always inspiring and leads to unexpected positive things.
Any tips on how the audience can most benefit from your workshop?
Come along with an open mind and a willingness to be yourself and make some new friends. Be prepared to have a bit of fun and connect with the people around you to talk about the things that are important to you in life. (But don’t worry, you won’t be asked to do anything embarrassing!)
At Wilderness Festival (August 2014):
Our event will encourage the audience to stop, reflect and be mindful of the things that really make for a happy life. We will be covering five themes: Wonder, Hope, Love, Gratitude, and Change, and for each we will be asking people to reflect on their own personal experiences and to share their ideas with other attendees in a friendly and interactive way. It promises to be thought-provoking, inspiring and lots of fun.
At Deptford Lounge (June 2014):
At this NOW event we will be looking at some themes that are vital for happiness – like gratitude, hope, acceptance and wonder. We’ll be asking people to reflect on what these themes mean for them, right here and right now – and we’ll be encouraging people to connect with others and share their ideas and reactions.
